An exceptional example of boutique American acoustic guitar craftsmanship, this Santa Cruz Guitar Company F Custom pairs an elegant Mocha Burst finish with a carefully selected combination of premium tonewoods and traditional construction techniques. Handcrafted in Santa Cruz, California, this custom-built instrument showcases the attention to detail, responsiveness, and tonal refinement for which Santa Cruz Guitar Company is renowned.

At the heart of this instrument is a redwood soundboard paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, offering a compelling combination of warmth, richness, and harmonic complexity. Redwood is prized for its responsiveness and expressive character, while Indian rosewood contributes a deep, resonant low end, shimmering overtones, and excellent tonal depth. Together, these tonewoods create a sophisticated voice suited to expressive fingerstyle playing, nuanced accompaniment, and dynamic flatpicking.

Beneath the soundboard, Adirondack spruce bracing assembled with traditional hot hide glue and individually tapered voicing reflect Santa Cruz's commitment to responsive acoustic construction. This carefully considered combination is designed to maximize resonance, tonal clarity, and dynamic sensitivity.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable round profile, a 1-11/16-inch nut width, and a 25.375-inch scale length. An ebony fingerboard with delicate mother-of-pearl dot inlays provides a refined playing surface, complemented by an ebony bridge and matching ebony headstock overlay. Premium Gotoh 510 chrome tuning machines deliver smooth, precise tuning performance.

Visually, this F Custom is distinguished by its rich Mocha Burst top, elegant ivoroid body binding, intricate purfling, and beautifully appointed bound fingerboard and headstock. Mother-of-pearl detailing, including the Santa Cruz headstock logo and ebony bridge pins, completes its understated yet luxurious aesthetic.

A remarkable combination of distinctive tonewoods, traditional craftsmanship, and custom appointments, this Santa Cruz F Custom is a sophisticated instrument for the discerning player seeking exceptional acoustic performance and timeless visual appeal.
