Complementing this, the robust rosewood fingerboard introduces warmth and intricate harmonic overtones, effectively balancing the instrument's vibrant treble with deep, resonant lows. The "S" represents a lightly contoured body in place of the usual binding on the standard 4003.
This particular Rick has lots of patina on the hardware (see photos) but is in near mint condition otherwise.
