Rickenbacker (2023) 4003 Bass - Mapleglo, w/OHSC

An iconic American bass design in one of Rickenbacker's most timeless finishes, this 2023 Model 4003 combines unmistakable styling with the articulate attack, ringing sustain, and distinctive tonal character that have defined Rickenbacker basses for generations.

Finished in natural Mapleglo, the 4003's maple construction is fully on display, complemented by contrasting body and fingerboard binding, a rosewood fingerboard, and Rickenbacker's signature triangular inlays. Its neck-through construction contributes excellent sustain and resonance while maintaining the familiar 33 1/4" scale that gives Rickenbacker basses their distinctive playing feel.

A pair of Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single-coil pickups provides everything from focused, articulate bass tones to the aggressive upper-midrange bite closely associated with the model. Individual volume and tone controls for each pickup allow considerable tonal flexibility, while both standard mono and Rick-O-Sound stereo outputs expand the instrument's routing possibilities.

The 4003 carries forward the lineage of the legendary 4001 while incorporating refinements developed for modern players. Its combination of distinctive construction, unmistakable aesthetics, and immediately recognizable sound has made the model a fixture across rock, progressive, alternative, and countless other styles.

This 2023 example is finished in classic Mapleglo and includes its original hardshell case.
