Few electric 12-strings are as historically significant or immediately recognizable as the Rickenbacker 360/12, and the C Series 360/12C63 was created as a remarkably faithful recreation of the early-'60s instrument that helped define the sound of the British Invasion.

This 2011 example is finished in classic Fireglo and features a semi-acoustic maple body with distinctive double binding, a set-in maple and walnut neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with triangular inlays, and Rickenbacker's ingenious compact 12-string headstock design.

A pair of vintage-style Rickenbacker Toaster Top single-coil pickups delivers the brilliant attack, harmonic complexity, natural chorus, and unmistakable ringing “jangle” for which the company's 12-string electrics became legendary. The 21-fret neck and vintage 7 1/4" fingerboard radius further distinguish the C63 from modern-production Rickenbacker 12-strings.
