Vintage Jose Ramirez Flamenco guitar from 1974. Crafted with a cedar top, Cypress back and sides, and an ebony fretboard. This is the golden era of Ramirez and this guitar sounds absolutely wonderful. This comes from one of the more prolific periods for the guitar maker and people flocked from all over to get there hands on one of his beautiful instruments.
This guitar is in great shape with some of the usual wear for a guitar of this age. There are no visible repairs or cracks and the guitar sounds fullbodied and warm.
The BNT Collection is the private guitar collection of Brad and Teena Boeckmann, founders of Malibu Music. Our curation of rare, historic, and custom instruments has been played in intimate jam sessions, studio recordings, and private performances with some of the world’s most accomplished musicians.
The BNT Collection was born from Brad and Teena Boeckmann’s shared belief that some guitars carry more than sound: they carry emotion, memory, and the ability to change people’s lives. Together, they built a collection of instruments chosen not for prestige, but for their ability to tell stories through sound.
