Based on a rare 1957 Gibson design, the Gibson Theodore Standard was developed from original drawings found in the Gibson Archives. Previously only available as a limited 2022 Gibson Custom model, this guitar features a mahogany body with double Florentine cutaways, a SlimTaper™ mahogany neck with rosewood cap and 22 frets, and a scimitar headstock with Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners. The balanced construction provides exceptional comfort, and the powerful ’57 Classic™ and ’57 Classic Plus humbucker™ pickups deliver effortless sustain and a wide range of tones. The Gibson Theodore Standard comes with a hardshell case and is available in an Ebony finish.
