The Gibson L-4C 1950 model was introduced in 1949 alongside the popular ES-175. It shares similarities with its electrified cousin, such as the recognizable body shape and the same scale length. However, unlike the 175's all laminate body, the L-4C features a solid spruce top and laminate back and sides, creating a more resonant sound for acoustic guitar leaning players.
