Gibson GA-19RVT Falcon (1962-1967)

The Gibson GA-19RVT Falcon (1962-1967) was a guitar amplifier that rivaled Fender's offerings at the time. With its 14 watts of power from two 6V6 tubes, a Jensen 12" speaker, and the inclusion of reverb and tremolo, the Falcon was ahead of its time. Unlike Fender's reverb amps, which placed the reverb circuit after the pre-amp section, the Falcon's reverb circuit tapped the signal before the volume and tone controls for a unique sound and a reverb that can be used without any dry signal! Additionally, the Falcon had a separate monitor output. This rare and coveted amplifier is praised for its full and rich sound with a raw and gnarly tone at higher volumes.
