Gibson Falcon 20 12w 1x12" Tube Guitar Amp Combo - Seafoam Green Tolex

The Gibson Falcon 20 brings one of Gibson's most celebrated vintage amplifier designs into the modern era, combining classic American tube tone with boutique craftsmanship and thoughtful contemporary upgrades. Inspired by the original GA-19RVT Falcon of the early 1960s, this 12-watt, all-tube combo was developed by legendary amplifier designer Randall Smith and the Mesa/Boogie design team, and is meticulously handwired in Petaluma, California.

Featuring a single-channel, Class A push-pull design with a cathode-biased power section, the Falcon 20 delivers the warmth, harmonic richness, and touch-sensitive response associated with vintage American tube amplifiers. A pair of 6V6 power tubes and four 12AX7 preamp tubes produce everything from sparkling, articulate cleans to smooth, naturally compressed overdrive, while the premium 12-inch Jensen Blackbird Alnico speaker provides exceptional clarity, warmth, and dynamic range.

True to its vintage heritage, the Falcon 20 features lush, tube-driven spring reverb and deep, pulsating tube-driven tremolo, both controllable via the included two-button footswitch. Its intuitive control layout includes Volume, Tone, Frequency, Reverb, and Tremolo controls, offering a versatile range of sounds without unnecessary complexity.

A three-position power selector allows players to switch between 12, 5, and 1 watts, making the Falcon equally suited to studio recording, home practice, and intimate live performances. Additional modern conveniences include a Monitor DI output, multiple speaker impedance connections, and the ability to accommodate optional 6L6 power tubes for increased output.

Finished in elegant Cream Bronco vinyl with an Oxblood grille, the Falcon 20 faithfully captures the distinctive styling of Gibson's late-1950s and early-1960s amplifiers. Combining vintage-inspired character, premium components, and modern versatility, the Falcon 20 is an exceptional choice for players seeking authentic American tube tone in a compact, beautifully crafted combo.
