Epiphone, working with Gibson Custom and the Hendrix family, has launched the Jimi Hendrix "Love Drops" Flying V™. This guitar is inspired by a Gibson Custom recreation of a guitar frequently played by Jimi Hendrix from 1967 to 1969. Originally sunburst, Hendrix customized his Gibson Flying V with hand-painted psychedelic graphics, which are recreated on this model. The Jimi Hendrix "Love Drops" Flying V features a mahogany body and neck, a laurel fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, and an Inspired by Gibson Custom logo and reproduction of Jimi's signature on the back of the headstock. The guitar also includes Epiphone Deluxe tuners, a Maestro Vibrola, Gibson Custombucker pickups, CTS potentiometers, a Mallory tone capacitor, a Switchcraft 3-way pickup select switch, and a 1/4" output jack. It comes with an Epiphone hardshell case featuring Inspired by Gibson Custom and Authentic Hendrix logos.
