The Gibson Les Paul™ is one of the most popular electric guitar designs of all time, and has been used by countless musical legends across genres for decades. Epiphone is proud to introduce the new Futura Les Paul Custom, a modern version of this iconic model featuring exciting new features for Les Paul lovers worldwide. The mahogany body has Ultra Modern weight relief, making it lighter without compromising resonance and sustain, and is topped with a maple cap that adds a bit of extra treble bite to the midrange warmth of the mahogany for that classic Les Paul tonewood recipe. It has 7-ply binding on the top, while the back features a Modern Contoured Heel neck joint for easier access to the upper frets. It is equipped with a LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and a LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece for outstanding intonation and sustain, and Posi-Lok™ strap buttons keep your strap securely attached without extra hardware. The glued-in mahogany neck features a long neck tenon, an ultra-comfortable, fast-playing Modern C profile, and is topped with a bound ebony fretboard with 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets and elegant Super 400-style pearloid split block inlays. The fretboard also features a 10”-14” compound radius, making chording and string bends equally effortless. The bound Kalamazoo headstock is outfitted with locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with kidney buttons, a Graph Tech® nut, and features the Epiphone logo and the Custom split diamond inlay in mother-of-pearl.

The Futura Les Paul Custom is powered by a pair of Epiphone’s new ProBucker™ Ignite humbucker™ pickups that can drive your amp hard when needed, while retaining clarity. Push/pull volume and tone controls provide coil-splitting and phase options for even more tonal variety.
