The Epiphone brand and Gibson Custom Shop have once again collaborated to produce the Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird V, an accurate rendition of the iconic guitar designed by automotive designer Ray Dietrich. First introduced in 1963, the Firebird™ was Gibson's first neck-through-body model and has been popular among musicians of various genres, such as blues legend Johnny Winter, The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards and Brian Jones, Eric Clapton, and Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera.
Experience the classic sound and style of the iconic Firebird V with the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird V. This expertly crafted guitar boasts vintage specifications, including a 9-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through-body design and mahogany body wings. At the headstock, you'll find Kluson® planetary geared “banjo” tuners, while an ABR-1 bridge and redesigned Maestro™ Vibrola™ with an engraved Epiphone logo hold it all together.
