The Castedosa Halcón Standard is a masterfully crafted boutique offset that blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with premium modern appointments. Hand-built by Carlos Lopez - a former Fender Custom Shop master builder - and completed in June 2026, this custom example showcases an Alder body finished in a beautifully aged Tahitian Coral lacquer with matching headstock, cream binding, and tasteful tortoise appointments throughout.

This instrument includes a quartersawn roasted maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard, offering exceptional stability, resonance, and a smooth playing experience. The comfortable V-to-C neck carve, 12" radius, Jescar frets, and bone nut make the Halcón equally at home for intricate lead work, expressive bends, and comfortable chord playing across the entire fingerboard.

The guitar is equipped with a pair of hand-wound Novak TS JM pickups, delivering the clarity, depth, and dynamic response that offset enthusiasts crave. From articulate cleans and chiming rhythms to rich overdriven textures, the Halcón offers a remarkably versatile voice while retaining a distinct character all its own. A Mastery bridge and tremolo system provide outstanding tuning stability, sustain, and expressive vibrato performance.
