The Blueridge BR-140 Historic Series Dreadnought acoustic guitar brings vintage tone and premium craftsmanship together in one instrument. Designed for serious players seeking an authentic acoustic experience, the BR-140 boasts solid tonewoods and traditional bracing that produce a warm, balanced sound.

The BR-140's solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides provide the resonant, full-bodied tone that Blueridge is known for. The spruce top produces crisp articulation and bright highs, while the mahogany body adds robust lows and rich midrange. These premium tonewoods are carefully chosen based on density and grain to achieve the ideal tonal balance. Their exceptional resonance and projection are felt through the entire frequency range.

Scalloped X-bracing allows the BR-140's top to vibrate freely, pumping out volume and enhancing note definition. This tried-and-true bracing technique, used for over a century, gives the guitar a classic dreadnought tone with punchy basses, ringing trebles and a focused midrange. The result is a vintage-inspired sound with modern power that flatters any musical style.

With its ivoroid binding, abalone and pearl fingerboard inlays and vintage-tinted gloss finish, the BR-140 looks like an acoustic from yesteryear. Nickel tuners with butterbean knobs provide smooth and accurate tuning. The mahogany neck has a comfortable rounded C shape for fast, easy playability up and down the East Indian rosewood fingerboard. Every detail of the BR-140 is crafted to capture the spirit of classic acoustics, inspiring you to play your best.

A rugged ProTour gig bag is included to protect your investment during transport and storage. The BR-140 dreadnought is built to handle the rigors of frequent gigging thanks to its solid woods and dovetail neck joint. While its old-school vibe may conjure up visions of front porch jam sessions, this Blueridge acoustic is ready to take the stage whenever you are.
