The Precision Bass of 1951 was the first commercially successful electric bass guitar, and it followed Fender’s equally groundbreaking Telecaster guitar launched just a year or so earlier.
This particular bass is a fine example of a 1966 P-Bass and is actually quite clean for its age! Come check it out and fall in love. Strung with tape wound flats. Typical play wear for its age, but very well cared for over the decades with no playability issues or dead frets. A good amount of fret remains, but these frets were on the smaller side to begin with. The finish is nice and thin and has held up remarkably well for an almost 60 year old instrument with only minimal chips here and there. Please inspect photos for wear.
