An exceptional and rare Larrivée Custom, this 2017 C-10 Custom 12-Fret “Angel” features the distinctive configuration associated with Tommy Emmanuel's celebrated custom Larrivée C-10.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, this C-10 combines Larrivée's characteristic clarity and balance with the warmth, responsiveness, and rich overtone content of its 12-fret construction. The neck joins the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th, placing the bridge farther into the soundboard while the striking Florentine cutaway maintains excellent access to the upper frets.

Visually this guitar showcases some of Larrivée's most recognizable custom inlay work. Wendy Larrivée's intricate "Angel" headstock inlay is accompanied by elaborate "Torch & Wing" fingerboard inlays, with abalone purfling and an abalone soundhole rosette to complete the vision.

This particular combination of features closely follows the specification of the custom C-10 12-Fret "Angel" famously associated with Tommy Emmanuel. Not to be confused with the later C-03R-TE signature model - the C-10 "Angel" is the considerably more ornate custom shop style instrument the C-03 was based on.

A superb instrument for the serious fingerstyle player or Larrivée collector, this C-10 offers an excellent combination of premium tonewoods, 12-fret construction, elaborate inlay work, and one of the most distinctive body designs in the Larrivée catalog.
