Join us at our Grand Opening on October 17th!

Since our opening in late 2023 we have been welcomed with open arms by the Malibu community. We’ve been proud to serve our fellow musicians both local and from around the world. The past three years have been a wild ride and we thank all of you for supporting your local independent guitar shop. And we are a ecstatic to announce the next chapter of the Malibu Music story…

We are moving! And we invite you to join us for our grand re-opening event on October 17th from 10am-8pm with the best guitar and amp builders in California hanging out with us all day including:

Castedosa Guitars, Decker Amps, Dirty Boy Pedals, Fazio Electric, GMI Public Address Systems, Guild Guitars, Grez Guitars, Larrivee, Milkman Sound, R2R Electric, Santa Cruz Guitar Co., Satellite Amps, Schecter Custom Shop, Shabat Guitars, Tone Ranger Guitars, and Zoe Jet Guitars. 

To round out the evening, from 6pm-8pm we will be joined by some amazing live acts including Surf/Western/Summer Vibes instrumental outfit “Desert Friends”, the female-fronted heavy-hitting ‘spur-core’ duo “Lionheart”, the soulful stylings of singer-songwriter Ben Matin, and our very own Country star Jimmy Shirley for a free live show. The evening festivities will be hosted by YouTuber/guitar extraordinaire Mike “Puisheen” Adams.

Our new showroom will be located at 3848 Cross Creek Rd. in the old Livewire Motorcycles storefront at Malibu Village.

We will remain open at our original location at 30745 Trancas Canyon Ave. until the move in mid-October so please come and say goodbye to the original location.
