The Gold Tone GM-10 "Frypan" mandolin, an affordable instrument, embodies the spirit and sound of the classic Flatiron M2 mandolin. The M2 was created in the late 1970s by Chuck Morrison, and its design was based on the Army/Navy model mandolin, which was built during WWI for the US military.
