Malibu Music: Pioneering Pinoy Rock in Malibu with The Mellow Dees.

We’re excited to announce that Malibu Music is leading the way in bringing Pinoy rock to Malibu with a special Vinyl Launch Event featuring The Mellow Dees on August 17th! This in-store celebration is all about uniting Filipino music, food, and culture right here in our community.

The Mellow Dees: A New Chapter in Pinoy Rock

Join us for an amazing night as The Mellow Dees take the stage to debut their new album, Walls Might Melt, on vinyl. This Filipino-American supergroup, featuring Melody Del Mundo Lucas from Sugar Hiccup, Wolf Gemora from Wolfgang, and Robin Nievera, is ready to rock Malibu with a live performance of their entire album. They’ll also be playing some classic hits from Blondie, The Pretenders, Talking Heads, and The Ramones, so there’s something for everyone!

But that’s not all—Zosimo, an up-and-coming rock band led by Filipino poet and musician Zosimo Quibilan, will also be performing. They’ll bring their original Tagalog songs to the stage, adding a special touch to the evening.

This event isn’t just about the music—it’s about celebrating Filipino culture with the community. We’ll be serving up delicious Filipino street food and snacks, so come hungry and ready to enjoy the flavors of the Philippines. It’s a perfect night to soak in great music, good food, and the vibrant culture that makes our community so special.
