The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s pays homage to the early 1960s Les Paul models and Gibson's Golden Era of innovation. The classic features include a non-weight-relieved solid mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, and a mahogany neck with a fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile. The bound Indian rosewood fretboard has 22 medium jumbo frets with acrylic trapezoid inlays. This guitar also features Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines “with Kidney\" buttons, gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors, a Graph Tech® nut, Grover tuners, ABR-1 bridge, and Stop Bar tailpiece. The two 60s Burstbucker™ pickups are loaded with Alnico 5 magnets and hand-wired to individual volume and tone controls that feature audio taper potentiometers. The tone controls use Orange Drop® capacitors. It also includes a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece. The guitar comes with a hardshell case.
